Owner & Baker
My gluten‑free baking journey began years ago, the day my daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease. Back then, finding anything pre‑made that was safe and delicious felt nearly impossible. The few options that did exist were expensive, dry, crumbly, or just… disappointing. Every grocery store trip felt like a gamble, and more often than not, we lost. So I started baking. At first, it was simply a way to give my daughter back the joy of a warm cookie, a soft slice of banana bread with butter melting into the top, or a brownie that didn’t taste like a compromise. Over time, it became a mission: to create gluten‑free treats that weren’t “good for gluten‑free”—they were just good, period. After years of experimenting, tweaking, and refusing to settle, I finally reached that goal. Even friends and family without celiac started asking for more. Recently, after being let go from my job of 27 years, I found myself reflecting on what truly brings me joy. The answer kept leading me back to the kitchen—to the simple happiness of baking something that makes someone’s day a little brighter. So here I am, turning that joy into a cottage bakery. My hope is to bring the same comfort, warmth, and delight that I brought to my daughter… to you. Every cookie, brownie, and loaf I bake is crafted with care, real ingredients, and the belief that gluten‑free should never mean “less than.” Welcome to my kitchen. I’m so glad you’re here.
